VeinViewer Vision, the third generation VeinViewer, offers the latest and most advanced version of this groundbreaking technology.

How Does It work?
VeinViewer projects an image much like a picture on a movie screen, but VeinViewer does this in real time making the patient’s skin the “screen”. VeinViewer uses near-infrared (NIR) light and other patented technologies to detect subcutaneous blood and create a digital image of the patient's superficial vein pattern projected directly onto the surface of the skin in real time. Projected near-infrared light is absorbed by blood but reflected by surrounding tissue. VeinViewer captures that information, process it, and project a digital image of the patient’s blood pattern within the vein directly on the surface of the skin. This patented technology, using AVIN™ (Active Vascular Imaging Navigation), is what allows VeinViewer to do what no other device can.

  VeinViewer Vision is the premier vascular imaging device. Every unit is fully loaded with ASSESS™ Imaging software providing the user the widest variety of features available in the direct projection market.
  With HD imaging and exclusive Df² technology, this VeinViewer model offers to-the-bedside mobility, quick set up and an optimal hands-free solution.

  VeinViewer® Vision2

  VeinViewer® Vision2 is the most advanced model of VeinViewer. Its MaxReach capabilities allow head-to-toe patient assessment without requiring the user to re-position the base of the unit.
  ​​VeinViewer® Vision2 is hospital durable and designed for facility-wide use. Its articulating arm and flexible wrist joint make Vision2 easy to maneuver and position. Place Vision2 at the bedside and using just a couple of fingers move the head of the unit to assess a patient head-to-toe. There is no need to re-position the device.
  And Vision2 offers more customization options than any other vascular imaging device. With Vision2 a clinician can: change the color of the projected image, invert or re-size the image, enhance the image using the fine detail mode, increase or decrease the image brightness or take and store a PNG file of the image. The advantage of all this customization is that the clinician can choose which mode provides the best image for her, and which mode provides the best image of her patient’s vasculature.

  VeinViewer® Vision(XTND)

  VeinViewer Vision^XTND is designed for the “hot seat” area in your facility. VisionXTND is a semi-permanent mount and ideal for environments where the patients come to you, single-seat procedures like blood draws and in donation centers.
  VisionXTND comes complete with the VeinViewer exclusive ASSESS™ Imaging software. VeinViewer VisionXTND offers all of the same exclusive imaging features as Vision, but in a semi-permanent mount. VisionXTND can be affixed to a wall or table and is ideal in "hot seat" settings where patients come to the clinician.

  VeinViewer® Flex

  VeinViewer Flex is a highly portable vascular access imaging device that can help you find the optimal venipuncture site and avoid potential complications.
  With HD imaging and Df² technology, this small VeinViewer model is the brightest and only handheld vein illuminator that provides benefits for all patients during the entire Pre-, During- and Post- vascular access procedure. It is ideal for alternate care facilities, such as surgery and blood/plasma centers, as well as home healthcare and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), VeinViewer Flex is designed for durability and maximum portability. Flex is also suited for hospital departments such as the Emergency Department and NICU where space requirements and speed of assessment demand an ultra-portable and reliable vein finder.
